Adar Michael Segali
Born on a kibbutz in the Galilee to a family of artists. Lives and creates in the village of Nataf in the Jerusalem Hills. In his work he draws inspiration from nature, from the connection between the local landscape and the weight of history deeply rooted in those surroundings.
Through the raw materials of memory, space, light and shadow he seeks to express emptiness.
He endeavors to freeze and isolate the ever fleeting present moment, capturing it in the material- without blurring its footprints; thus his work is testimony to the process of creating itself.
